What you can track
Clamp the circuits that matter most. Anything unclamped only shows up in the whole-home total.
- Whole home: two 200A clamps on the service mains
- Circuits: 16 branch circuits, such as HVAC, dryer, water heater and EV charger
- Solar: production, plus a zero feed-in automation for solar systems that must not export
- Merge Channel: adds channels together, for example both mains into one whole-home total
- History: daily, hourly and minute data you can export
Installation
It mounts inside your breaker panel, and the clamps go around existing wires. Because you’re working next to live service wires, hire a licensed electrician unless you’re trained for it. A metal panel can also weaken Wi-Fi, so check the signal at the panel before you buy.
