The Jackery HomePower 3000 is a 3,072Wh battery that can run a fridge, lights, Wi-Fi and a few larger appliances through an outage, in a package one adult can still lift. It lists at $1,499 and often sells for about $1,349 direct from Jackery.

What it runs in an outage
Assuming about 85% efficiency, expect roughly 2,600Wh of usable power per charge. Estimates with typical US appliances:
- Full-size fridge: 30 to 40 hours
- Wi-Fi router and modem: about 5 days
- CPAP, no heated humidifier: about a week of nights
- Window AC unit: 3 to 4.5 hours
- 1,500W space heater: about 1.5 hours
Plugging in bigger loads
- The four household outlets share 2,400W (The Solar Lab). The full 3,600W comes only from the 30A RV-style outlet.
- To feed home circuits from that 30A outlet, have a licensed electrician install a transfer switch or power inlet.
- With a full 1,000W solar array, expect about 3kWh on a sunny day (estimate: 1,000W x 4 sun hours x 0.75), close to one full recharge.
